Chuck the light here is a little bit harsh and the background is a little bit distracting due to the reeds and its reflections on the water. The light oblique line in the upper right part of the frame is very distracting. The drake is swimming towards the right of the frame and I am wondering if you have a similar image like this but with the duck positioned in a more clean BG without the reeds. Checking the histogram of your image in PS it seem that you clipped some whites and blacks too. The pose is nice and the sharpness very good. Keep them coming:)

Definite improvement in getting a lower shooting angle, Chuck. As Juan has covered, the light is a bit harsh and the BG busy. Ideally you want the duck parallel or angled just slightly toward you rather than away from you. Keep at it - each step is one closer to the destination.
