Neat and sharp with a lovely pose and great eye contact. I love the fantastic reds/greens colors surrounding the bird. The low angle is nice but a lower perspective would produce a fantastic result on this image. The subject is a little bit centered on the composition to my taste. I like the light a lot. Big welcome to BPN and hope you enjoy your time with us. Keep them coming

Welcome, Jim. Lovely first post. Juan has covered the important points well. A slight crop from the left and below would decenter the bird a little and a bit of a burn in the corners and top would pull the eye in to the bird. Looking forward to more of your images.
