    i didn't know what to put up today so i went out to see what God might provide. there it was, right on time.
    i really tried to get this bird farther to the left, but didn't quite know how and rather than screw everything else up, i let it go.
    tried my hand at a mottled bg but didn't do too well at that either.

    Hi Mike

    To move the bird off center try moving the sensor points in camera or use the AF lock Just push one button and the focus will hold so you can re compose.

    This one is not very sharp and bg wise is tough to do it afterwards !!! If I need a bg my best bet is taking an image the pasting the bird over it !! btw your PS work is looking better !!!

    Hi Mike,
    The techs. have been covered. very good advise. The thing that pops out at me is the bird being soft, out of focus, and the amount of noise it has...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

    i got busy and said, this bg stuff can't be that hard. within a few mins. i was able to get a great bg. i am using it tonight on my mocking bird shot.
