    This is my best Glossy to date taken at Viera, I wish I could have gotten some more light on the shoulder but my position and the sun made that impossible

    40D, 500 f/4 + 1.4TC, 1/640 at f/7.1, Aperture Priority, Evaluative Metered + 2/3, ISO 400, Raw, Cropped.

    You did a nice job here. I love the perch, preening pose and glossy shining on the feathers. I would try a crop with less room at the left and upper parts of the frame. Well done

    I like the detail in the plumage and the preening pose. I agree with Juan about placing the bird a little higher in the frame, and might tone down the perch just a little.
