    Beautiful conversion, D! I like the spacing of the pier joists - would recommend you add a thin line between the two up front that are virtually connected - maybe just a pixel or two wide. Beautiful tones to this...has a silver halide feel to it!

    Denise,
    I like the strong graphic design here. The Orton works well, too. My first thought about the two merged posts was to agree with Jules on wanting some separation there, and I do think that would yield a strong image with the emphasis on the rhythm of the post spacing - almost musical. OTOH the more I look at it and think about it, I think the interruption of the pattern that the merger creates actually adds interest and creates a strong anchor point. Works either way for me.
