Haven't been up in AWF in a while.........would like to invite you all down to the landscape forums to post or just check it out!

This was taken on the beach near Little Estero using the Canon Mark 3 with the sigma 300-800 mm lens at 800mm at ISO 800 and f8 for 1/3200 sec. all mounted on tripod with Wimberly head.

As always comments welcomed and appreciated.

Love the pose - especially the one-leg hold of the prey and the head showing in profile. I think the wing position works perfectly. Only suggestion is to tone down the very obvious sharpening halos along the dark edges.

A very unusual pose but it really works for me. Superb eye contact BTW. I agree with Tony´s suggestion about the sharpening halos. The third primary feather in the right wing needs some "digital surgery" job... :D

Great positioning. The only nit I have is the oversharpening halo.
