We were there this afternoon and I didn't take one single picture.
Alfred got one from a Squirrel eating Fireflag flowers.
There are some Painted Buntings, but they feed on the muddy ground, or feeder. No perching for photo ops.
No Owls to be seen, one RSH soaring too high for the 600 plus 1.7X (dot in the frame).
Sorry to hear it was so slow, but I'm glad to get a bit of news from Corkscrew. It's been quite a while since I've been to the preserve...it sure is a beauty even when the wildlife is a bit slow.
Sorry to hear that. Last time I was there (About a month ago) on my way out, I got a beautiful Red Shoulder Hawk in a nice clean perch. Owls were calling deep in the woods but I did not get to see one.
There have been a couple of sightings of a white throated sparrow at the bunting feeder this week. A first for corkscrew. They hope it will be around all winter.
