    Hi Samir

    I like the action and timing !! Making the catch sure adds to the image.

    For these you really need softer light Difficult to do much with a white bird in harsh light since its so reflective compensating enough will block all shadow detail. As presented would give more room since its tight in frame and a slight head angle would have been great !!!

    Great moment to capture. You seem to like dramatic composition with dark background :)
    Your signature! I knew this one was yours.
    There is some weird coloring going on in the face and fish and that same part seems a bit over-sharpened (very contrasty)

    Thank you very much. I honestly don't know why the face looks weird. It wasn't sharpened separately. I unfortunately don't have my raw (gone with failed hard drive), so I can't reprocess it anymore. And for the lighting. There are very tall trees across the lake and evenings is that magic moment where the woods make large shadow in back and sun on the border falling on small area. If I catch the bird there, I get this effect.
