    This is part of the path that winds through a new development near my office. It was absolutely gorgeous this fall and I managed to get out and photograph it early one morning which made it shine even more.

    Canon 40D, 17-40mm f/4L
    f11 @ 1/60th, ISO 200
    Manual mode, pattern metering, sunny WB
    Handheld, natural morning light
    Processed in ACR & CS3; added an Orton-like effect at the end

    Hey Jules,
    The sky doesn't bother me in this one......because it has very nice colors and shadow play. You used the Orton effect minimally........and it really works for me here. The yellow have a very nice painterly look to them......while the path leads me nicely through the scene.

    Jules, Real nice winding path thru beautiful fall foloiage- I like the softening effect and the colors!

    Jules,
    I think Roman & Denise have said it all. I really like the glow in the warm colors, and the curving path.
