    Rare in the wetlands and is the reason I'm posting, posted the male a while back and very happy to have gotten this female, Green Cay Wetlands early morning with a Canon 50-D
    ISO = 200 - f/5.6 - 1/1600th. of a sec. + 0.7-EV. and - 700-MM.

    As usual all comments and visits very appreciated.

    Hi Bill your hard work is paying off at the Wetlands !!! Sure are coming up with interesting birds !!!

    I like the pose, exposure and sharpness Can only suggest more room, seems a little tight. Will be joining you over there soon !!! .... btw tried out Corkscrew for buntings today and stroke out !!!

    I so can't wait Al and please remember lunch is on me, was there 3-times today and gets better every time. Live only 1.6 miles away so it affords me many visits a day, just e-mail for an update see you soon.

    You stroke twice, you got the male before, right?
    Nice exposure and water and I may take a couple of minutes to fix the bill shine on the upper one.

    Lovely feather detail Bill, and with the size of that beak, I can see why he's called a shoveller.

    Nice light and good illustration of the shoveler bill. Agree re the bill shine. Look like some CCW rotation would be good - looks to be sliding downhill to the right:D.
