This is an interesting and unusual image,Steve. I like the sharpness of the head, the low angle, the great light, and the pano crop. You might consider toning down some of the whiter highlights in the OOF fore- and background as they tend to draw my eye.

    Steve,

Cool idea on the extension tube.

Interesting composition that works nicely. I would have lived to see the same distance to edge on the right that you have on the left.

    Steve,
Lovely ground level perspective. Since you went low, the background is nicely out of focus. The head is sharp. Cropping into a pano works. The snake is nearly touching the right edge. I would have loved some more separation.

I like the light and the low angle. The eye really stands out as well. Would like to see a little more space on the right.

I really like this image but the shadows seemed a bit deep so I did a shadow/highlights adjustment and then pulled down the yellow tones just a bit in color balance.

    Hi Steve,

I really like this one. It has great impact, you are drawn to the eye. I like the low POV and agree with the need for a bit more space.
I would gently blur the bright stone on the LHS just under the body. It seems to be sharper than the rest of that middle ground and just drags my eye over to see what it is.

    Great capture. Well done.

    Austin
