    Yes it is a bird.:D
I took this one in the spring at a wildlife center. This poor fellow can't fly, but he is very friendly and inquisitive and is well cared for.

Full frame, no cropping or straightening
Used sharpening technique pointed out to me by Robert Amoruso select bird/contract/ and feather and then sharpened using Smart Sharpen
Did a NR on the BG
And cloned the BG around the beak because there were some distracting darker green spots
    C & C appreciated
    Thanks

    Nicely done Jackie,
I like the pale green background which makes your subject stand out. You have good color rendition and sharp details. Suggestion, sharpen the eye just a tad and make it a hair darker...

I like the fine details and eye contact on this guy Jackie. I'm not sure of the composition, might agree with Al regarding taking a little from the left.
    Regards

Eye darkened and sharpened (Thanks Gus), cropping from the left looked odd to me so I cropped a bit from the top and right. If any one else has any ideas for a crop please post or let me know if you think this looks OK. Thanks!
