i had no clue what to do with this one but i liked it. i tried lots of different crops and finally settled on this one. i think it's a little unorthodox, but i liked the water ripples on the right and wanted to include them. this was taken saturday am at green cay wetlands.

D300, Bigma at 500mmm f/6.3, 1/500s, 0EV, ISO 400, flash fired but was irrelevant in this photo.

thanks for looking and comments are greatly appreciated!

AND I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT TURKEY DAY!!!!:D

The colours are gorgeous Harold. The bird is very centred but I can totally see why you would want to include the ripples. I love the reflection too. I like it but would be fascinated to see the uncropped version.
    Cheers.

    Doctor Davis,
I like the very much. I don't have a problem with the duck being centered; in this case it works out well due to the pano crop...well done. the tones and green hues of the water puts this over the top...a big congrats...:)
Wishing you and Jill a very Happy Thanksgiving, be safe and God bless.

Hi Harold Normally we don't like them centered but looks goo as presented. The circles seem to help.

Crop wise would have like to seen a much tighter image in frame, would have been spectacular !!! .... can you stick a converter on the Bigma? Your original crop looks good !!!

Hi Harold. ,I like your pano posting. Good sharpness, and colors. FYI, I think that your bird is a Pied-billed Grebe and not a Least Grebe:eek: Good shot;)

    H:
It's not a Tokina, It's a Tamron. Make me an offer.

Love the eye contact of your bird, the colors and sharpness. Can't decide which version I like better.
Got back this afternoon, we had a great time.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Mrs. H

Gorgeous colours and reflections in the water Harold, good sharpness, and I like the crop to pano. For want of longer glass:)
