just a Swan!

Well, this is all I could do today. I'm on the rod and this morning I stopped at this little lagoon full of swans that just came from Russia for winter. I was trying to get them flying but I didn't have any success! I'll try tomorrow again on the way back home.

I found this guy among the 200 + shots I took. I really like the way he is displaying all the his feathers. The background was so messy so I cloned to try to clean it up a bit. Not much I can do, I'm in a hotel, tired after driving all day!

Nikon D300 - AF-S 300 f/4 , A/P wide open, 1/800 sec, -0.3 ev, ISO 200, A bit of cropping on the right and top.

Great whites and pose. I'd probably crop the bottom some since the reflection is not that great. It could use some sharpening in the face area IMO.

A poll is a survey when you have a question. I never use that feature.
