As you see we were taking pictures together:D
Pentax K10d *da 300 f4.0, Iso 200 f5.6 1/60 hand held in body shake reduction.
I used iso 200, testing if I can obtain a little more detail.
Again thank you for all your comments and critiques

Hi Alberto - nice sharp details - well exposed and love the blue BG. Can see some patches of noise in the BG that is easily fixed. I like :)

    Alberto,
I like the close up pose. Its superb...I like the color rendition and the details in the feathers and the eye. I like the reflection in the eye, and the blue background makes him stand out...well done...proud of you...

Good and sharp Alberto, you did very well with the low shutter speed. I think I am going on a raptor shoot in a couple of weekends. Should be fun. Hope I do as well as you :)

    Good one Alberto !!!!

I like seeing these two and does show the importance in having the head square to the film plane. Same as the head angle allows the tip of the beak being in focus, the proper tilt (square) allows the eye to be evenly illuminated. For this one would lighten the eye also !! The little extra bird shown in the corp looks good, I like showing off the nice feathers !!! You guys did well !!!

Wow - what a difference a good HA can make! Agree with Al, a lighter eye would be nice on both, espcially Alberto's. Both are fine efforts..
