    With ice forming on the lakes my spring fed ponds will have a kingfisher or two all winter that gives me great photo opts. I have minnows in the ponds and they eat their fill but have to strike the pose all winter.

    Hope she sticks around for you Dennis. I like the winter scenery, not something you see everyday with this species. I wish the subject was bigger in the frame, but it looks like you are at the cropping limits for this image. BG is noisy too, some noise reduction would help.

    Dennis-

    I am afraid I don't see the noise that Danial sees. It would be interesting to see smaller crop just to see the result. Very nice image. I like it a lot.
