Taken in the spring in Northern Ontario where there is a lot of granite and hardly any topsoil. Winters are usual brutal. About 500 miles north of Toronto.

Lady Jackie,
I like your composition. The water is milky soft. It has a good feel to it . I like the steep drop off and the way you framed it. suggestion; try kicking up the saturation and contrast a notch and see if it presents better; giving it an extra punch...good show...
Great re post !!! Particularly like the selected shutter speed, water looks mighty fine !!! On your next encounter with a waterfall might want to try an HDR !!! Could be interesting !!!
Thanks Gus for the advice re contrast and sat. I kept thinking it was too saturated, and the bright green trees of the spring threw me off. Thanks for pointing that out. Harold we usually have TXgiving early in October and from what I hear it is nothing like yours, although it is a family time and lots of food, nothing like the shopping frenzy that I hear it is like in the States, but thanks for thinking of me!!!!
