    Lovely detail in the birds plumage Mat and you have caught the head pose spot on. The blue water BG nicely compliments the warn tones of the bird. Well done!!

    You did quite well despite the harsh light, nicely composed. I would clone out or crop the yellow patch in the upper left.

    Hope to make your BPN experience an exciting one!

    Sharp focus and excellent dof on the bird. I would tone down the large rocks in the forground lending more attention to the subject.
