    Fall Impression

    Nikon D2X
    18 - 200 mm f/3.5 - 5.6 VR lens @ 27mm
    f/25 , 1 sec , 100 ISO.

    Impressionistic blur of fall leaves. The longer shutter speeds allow me to keep my focus on one particular spot prior to slightly moving the camera up, down, to the left or to the right to create the vision that I wish to capture. I kept focus at one spot for about 3/4 of a second before slightly moving the camera. That technique allows the capture of very distinct leaves and that small movement in the last 1/4 of a second gives the milky blur that makes the image impressionism
