My brain is dead and turned to mush. Today I remembered my tripod. Hurrah! But I forgot to bring the mounting plate.:( We are getting to the end of the fall colors so i decided to see what i could find .

Lighting conditions cloudy with a light drizzle. Had to work to keep the slate gray skies out of the picture.
Wow,to be chosen for this is really cool. Especially when i know there are many other images that are probably just as good. Thank you for choosing one of my pictures as for IOTW.
Congrats Chris! Very nice fall image. And I sympathize about forgetting the mounting plate - been there, done that, discovered its absence an hour from home. By chance do you use a Monfrotto ball head with the hexagonal plates? I have two that I no longer use.
