    Spotted this beauty at Wako the other morning foraging in the high grass. I got as low as I can from the boardwalk (between slats) and created this image wide open to help with the busy grass BG. Is it too busy or good habitat image?? I did like the square crop with that big reverse S.

    Very nice portrait, details and soft light. I actually like the BG and don't find it distracting. I see a slight blue/magenta cast on my monitor.

    I have to agree with Axel as far as the color goes. I wish for a lower angle but you did the best you could.

    Yes, I believe I caused the cast by adding a couple points saturation to the blue channel when processing. Easily fixed.

    I think the bird stands out well against the BG. He is one good looking GBH.
