    Default White Ibis foraging

This white ibis was foraging on a tidal mudflat last February as the sun rose. A close look reveals that it has just captured a small food item. 20D, 500 f/4 + 1.4X, 1/1000, f/6.7, ISO 400. Comments are welcome.

I like the light, pose and details but would prefer a crop with the entire reflection or cropped closer.

Wonderful light and pose with one foot partially raised. I would crrop it a bit closer, as Axel said.

Lovely light and pose. Agree regarding a closer crop. Lovely to have the item in the beak and the raised foot as Aidan noted.

Good comments above. However, I would also fix the horizon.
