I like it Todd Cute little guy !!!

Love the tones, sharpness and getting the entire tail in frame !!! Wish it didn't have the bright area right over the head and might crop a little of the bottom !!! Good looking squirrel don't think we have that kind around here .... and ours don't bother storing for the winter :)

    Todd,
You have captured a nice behaviour. I agree with the above comments. I would also liked a bit less saturation. Try lowering the saturation a bit and you would realise that the background will appear less distracting and automatically the focus would be more on the eyes. I like the sharpness in this image.

I wish you can go close enough to shoot this one with f2.8.
    Cheers,

    Tom,

He is certainly packing for winter. Agree with above comments.

You have some good suggestions above, Todd. I like the pose and the asymmetrical look of the face. On my monitor, the chipmunk looks a bit dark - you might try lightening it up somewhat. I would wish that we could see more of the front paws.

I think he needs to pack a little more in that right cheek so he's at least balanced. I like the little "valley" the FG sets him in. The bright blob doesn't bother me but I'd remove the dark line coming off the ear tip.
