Today at Bunche Beach, with my very good friend Oscar Z that snores like a chipping hammer.

    Hi Alberto,
I like the capture. The contrasting two toned colors of the water sets this off very well; highlighting your subject. the bird is placed just right in frame. This type of image lends itself to be presented as a horizontal crop. The only thing that needs correction is the water line. It needs about 1 degree of CW rotation; it's slanting to the left...besides this, you did good, I like it...congrats...

Alberto you guys be careful in parking the camper .... might get arrested for disturbing the peace !!!!

I'm fine with the crop and can go either way, this shows the sky in which case might want to intensify. Would crop a little for proportion. Posted with a coupe of changes, crop ration, increased Dmax in blacks, straighten horizon and little work in the water btw you also want anything silhouetted to be sharp !!! Like the image a lot !!!

The colours on the water are beautiful Alberto and the bird is a lovely silhouette. I like the addition of black but may not quite as much as Al has done, and may just clone out the vertical ( tower? ) in the BG. Lovely image.

Looking back at the image I would intensify the reds and then darken the bird and shoreline !!! btw sometimes you can use just a bit of flash to give the bird some detail/color and can look good !!!
