    From Ft DeSoto earlier in the year a short-billed dowitcher fining bathing.

    Excellent low capture angle with the raised wings...this is just like poetry in motion...I like the raised foot. you have sharp feather details with good color rendition. I like the head angle and eye contact. the shore habitat compliments your subject very well, making use of the natural sea tones. and to top it off, the small ripple on the left side of the frame adds the perfect touch...congrats maestro...:):cool:

    Love the wings spread and the raised foot and all beige/brown/black shades in the bird Al, and nicely framed. Looks like you got him just before take-off.
