    Default Leopards

    Hi,

I captured this image early one morning in Kenya, Masai Mara.

The pair had been patrolling the area for some time, half playing, half on the lookout for food. I like the interaction in particular between the two leopards.

    1D MK3, 300mm, f3.2, 1/1600, ISO800.

    Thanks for looking.

    C&C welcome.

Leopards are so stunning when photographed well as you have done here. They contrast well against the BG. Both heads clear of each other and a good position on the lead leopard makes for a great looking image.

I like the interaction between the two leopards. It really balances out the image well.

Lovely contrast & rich colours. Like the way the leopard in front is protruding its tongue out. As u mentioned it, the interaction between the 2 individuals is interesting.

Beautiful colors and detail. Nice interaction of the subjects as well. I might lighten up the dark spot in the top left (as viewed) since the one leopard seems to be looking that way and my eye is lead up there from following his view.

    Austin,
A nice image. Good to find two siblings interact. I would have left some more space towards the left, a personal preference. I would also lighten it up as the rocks at the back look very dark and attracts attention. The saturated look works here, but my preference is for a lower saturation level. How can I not mention the tongue? It increases the impact manifold. Lovely.
    Cheers,

Lovely image Austin. Getting two close subjects to work in the same pic is not always easy. But this one works beautifully. I also prefer a bit less saturation-but this is not an issue at all. Nice work.

Interaction is super. I like the tongue out pose and the tail curl on both.

Thanks all for your comments and feedback.

I'll check the saturation on a couple of other computers/ screens to compare.
