    I am not sure, what the english name for that beautiful owl is? We call it "American Owl" in Germany...

    I like the pose, details, soft light, angle and BG. Might work as vertical crop, too.

    I like the bird very much and agree with Axel on the vertical crop.
    Also, I would lower the highlight on the snow.

    We call them Great-horned owls and this one is a beautiful specimen. Lovely BG colors. I think it would work as a vertical as well. Well done.

    I have a vertical crop too, but I do like this one too, because of the nice BG.
