    Robert,
I love it. What a cute critter. I like how his fur is so camouflaged with the grasses. Is there some fur or grassdirectly to the left of his paws? Kind of grayish in color.

    Bee,

Looks like grass to me. Thanks for your kind comments.

Great shot! Like the low angle and the expression. Like how the grass surrounds the subject as well.

Hey, you stole my pet !

I like the sheen on his forelegs and his expression while he is munching on the grass.

This is a lovely image Robert. Liked its erect pose (large sized praying mantis :p ) & those bits of leaves sticking to its mouth.
    Nice details.

    Hi Robert,
I really like the light, color, and pose on this guy. The grass in the mouth and paws is a nice addition. Detail in the grass is good but the wiry one right on his right side looks like a stray hair on my screen. I'm also seeing a cloned version of part of it just to the left (as viewed).

    Robert,
I like this image. Lovely colours. Nice action. I love that open mouth. :-)

I was reading a National Geography story some time back and realised that these small fellows are threatened by habitat destruction. Feel sad for them.
    Cheers,

Great pose and expression captured here Robert... I also like the position of the prarie dog in the frame, with the grass in the lower lefthand corner fitting nicely in the composition.

Not sure how that happened as I did not do any cloning or canvas or quick mask, etc. on this. My guess is that I might have done a mask and instead of having the paintbrush selected I had the clone tool selected. I seem to do that a lot. Thanks and will go back a fix that Steve.

Very nice image Robert. Color, stand up pose, BG and the mouth caught in mid meal all work very well. BTW, I also like the sheen on the coat-it gives you another hint of it's texture.
