    I thought I would post this image because of the transparent beak and feather thought it was pretty cool because of the lighting. Taken at the Green Cay Wetlands with a Canon MK-II at ISO=250 f/5.6 1/250th. of a sec. -0.7 exp.comp. at 400-MM with a 100-400-L.

    Please all comments and visits as usual are very welcome and appreciated.

    Bill,
    I like the composition and placement of the head and eye in the frame. The whites on the head is burnt. You may try to recover it in pp. Overall a nice image.

    Very nice composition, Bill. I do like how the beak shows through the feather. I suspect from the small bright highlight in the eye that you used fill flash - if so it was a good idea to try and balance the wide tonal range.

    Nice! I like the backlight, pose and bill behind the feather is a great plus! BG is good. Congratulaitons!
