    An attempt to photograph sleeping cranes at bosque pond at 5.30AM. Metered of hill range in the back and fired hand held flash 3 times on birds.

    It's pretty dark there at 5:30 am. You'd never know it looking at this photo. Nice one!

    Thanks Doug. It was pitch dark. I had to turn on my car head lights to focus on cranes.
