    D300, 400 f2.8 w/2X tc, f5.6, 1/125, iso 800, spot, man exp.
    Would love to have a smoother bg but they seem to love the safety of the blackberry bushes. I am gradually removing them so will get a better bg soon:D. Slight crop for comp.

    I like the pose and the perch. The eye seems pretty sharp, but the breast feathers could stand some more sharpening. The light brown vertical element is a little distracting to me. I would also brighten the bird and boost saturation a little. Here's a repost.

    Love the pose and soft light, BG is a bit bussy IMO, but I like the level of detail, maybe a bit more saturaton could help! Congratuaitons!
