    40D, 1-400L @ 310mm, f5.6, 1/250s, ISO 800, + 1/3 EC, cropped a bit for comp.

    Steve,
    He looks like a big guy. Interesting ears. I would have liked some more space at the top. I like the hint of the tongue. A small crop from the bottom would help as well.

    that is a handsome buck in obvious full rut, BG is very pleasing and I like the bit of open mouth.

    Nice shot Steve. Really like the crop and the colors as well. You are getting some great images of these deer.

    Hi Steve. The smiley-face really give this one some character. The pose, sharpness, and light are all very good. I like the crop, though I might go just a bit lower on the bottom.
