    Default Winter Swamp Maples

During the winter when the snow as melted off the ground in some of the swamps I like to shoot in, I will run across patches of matted down maple leaves. As you can see in this image, they will sometimes turn to a cool grayish white. The swamp seems to suck the color right out of the leave. I shot this with a Fuji S3 Pro, Tamron180, F22 at 6sec.

You really are a master of seeing and composing patterns Mike!! The dark veins of the leaves form an appealing pattern here. Nicely seen.

Mike, I really like the patterns and textures you captured in these leaves. I would love to see large blowup - I'll bet the detail is amazing!

Cool patterns and shapes. I think it must look really good full size!

Anyone can enjoy a shot as pleasing as this but it takes a real photographer's eye to see it before it's a photo. Nicely done.

I agree to all comments - especially like the "Leaf Master"... you have an incredible eye for these kind of shots!
