I hope this is Wren and I didn't get it wrong- Anyway it's the first one to my backyard feeders. Taken today- he is small and there is a heavy crop.

Hi Denise, it appears you captured a Carolina Wren. Doing a comparison in Sibleys, they do seem to look very similar to each other but New Jersey is way outside of the Bewicks' territory (southwest US and Mexico). The eye stripe also seems too white to be a Bewicks'. Nice image, though. :o

A nice composition and capture Lady Denise. I like the colors and details. The pale background compliments your subject well...good show...

Thanks Beth- I wasn't sure. My books all have the colors softer for the Carolina

You have a very nice Carolina Wren. Nice detail, good exposure and subtle colors. I like this one very much. Well done.
