I finished cleaning the house this afternoon and BeeP came out of hiding. It's been funny to watch him disappear every time I pull out the vaccuum or grab the dust cloth (which ain't all that often to be truthful!) Nonetheless, he's always conveniently missing and doesn't surface again until he hears me say "Enough!"
BeeP asked why I was scouring the inside of the bath tub earlier and I said it was so I could enjoy a guilty pleasure...a long, hot, heavily scented bubble bath before the long week at work got underway again.
"Bubbles? In a bath?" he questioned. "Yes, Beep, big, fluffy, smelly bubbles."
"Show me!" he said. So I lit the candles and poured in the intoxicating scent and he watched as the tub filled the air with a lovely blend of spices and florals.
"Would you like to give it a go" I asked?
"But I'm a cat," replied BeeP, "Cats don't do baths."
"Oh, I said." Then make yourself useful and hold the pumice stone brush 'cause I'm gettin' in."
BeeP never did give in and join in the bubbles but he told me later he'd never been so tempted to voluntarily jump into a pool of water. ;):D
I am amazed at Beeps will power Julie. For me with the lit candles and the scented bubbles I would have a hard time resisting and I am sure even a kitty would too. Love this image !!!!!!
Quite so Al, but you see BeeP is obviously much more at home with notion of icy British water...I also suspect that he doesn't want to get bubbles in his eyes - now Jules, if you were to provide goggles ...
BTW as I write this I am sitting at Heathrow airport about to board a flight to the USA - will be joining Artie at Bosque at the end of the week, but I shall be having Thanksgiving in Denver with my best friend - yum yum!!!! It will be good to be back in the US!
