    Default Hooded Vulture

    Hi There

Shot taken yesterday at my usual venue of the Hawk Conservancy Trust here in the UK. Light levels were pretty low, but i was able to grab this shot of one of the Hooded Vultures as he flew straight at me. They fly several vultures low over the heads of the audience, and its certainly a sight to behold.

Have gone for the panoramic crop in order to loose a nice wooly hat on one of the audience members head.:)

Cool!! This really looks like a painting.....and the vulture has an angry look. Nice job getting the head on view and I think the pano crop works very well with this one. The light area around the bird almost gives the feel of the bird coming out of a lit cavern. This certainly make for a very interesting image.

This is amazing, I have to agree with Lana... looks like a painting! Lovely wings and exposure! Excellent focusing technique.
