    Nice detail on your bird. I also like the colors and the feel of the light.

    I can see why this is one of your favourites, Terry. Lovely bird, lovely light, good habitat, even the head angle is great. A lower shooting angle would only have brought in more OOF foreground. My only suggestion is to burn in the edges a little to focus attention in on the bird. If you load both images as layers and move from one to the next you can see the difference better than scrolling between them. Well done.

    This is a lovely image, and I can see why it is one of your favorites. The leaves add so much texture and interest and the bird's pose is great. Tony's idea of burning the edges works very well with your fine image.
