    Glad you guys are able to get to the birds this year !!! Artie's clean up did make a difference

    I like the feather detail/coloration and distance cottonwood bg !!! Nice one jIm !!!

    Very nice with the angled pose and head turn toward the camera, and the lighting is super. Good to see the wind is cooperating!

    I like the headon angle in this, and the mottled colours of blue and brown in the BG. Well captured Jim.

    Everything works on this shot. I love the detail in the feathers, and the posture is top notch.

    I like this image a whole lot. Besides nailing all the technicals, you managed to capture one of those awkward moments of readjusment when heavy birds come in for a landing in variable wind conditions-kinda like landing a Super Cub on a gusty day. Stunning image!
