I like this one a lot Tom. The OOF FG frames them nicely. Nice and sharp on the deer.

I agree, this is very pleasing. The foliage framing them makes the image.

Hi Tom... I like how you've captured the eye contact with both deer, and the interaction between the two at the same time. Nice work! If it were mine, I might crop some from the bottom and left to eliminate some of the OOF area.

    Tom,
A lovely image. I like the way you have framed the deer with the out of focus foreground. The diffused background adds to the image. The lovely colours coupled with the out of focus areas gives it a painterly feel. You have captured the image with a nice interaction between the two. I would have loved if you could have shifted a bit to your left. However, I have no idea whether it was possible to move to your left without disturbing the deer. I am sure I would not have got a sharp image handholding that lens at 1/125 seconds. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.
    Cheers,

Great image. but there is far too much OOF foreground as john feels. Fantastic capture on the moment. in my view, needs cropping to emphasize that feeling and remove those distractions.

Sweet stuff! I might think about taking a bit off the bottom but that's personal preference. The deer are nice and sharp and the surroundings really add to the image.

Interesting comments about reducing the OOF foliage. Image now re-cropped, do you think this work better?
