    Hi Bill I like that bg !!! Very nice pose and exp A slight head turn would have been nice Might consider moving he bird slightly left and cloning he oof palm tree? btw at your shutter speed the flash had zero effect on the image. Would suggest keeping around 500 or less if you are able !!!

    I agree with Al's comments re BG and maybe cloning out the tree. I think the flash did have a small effect (light is visible reflecting off the legs) - normal sync speed would be 1/250 for a 40D but with some flashes you can program high speed sync which can have an effect at higher speeds albeit with very reduced range.

    I sure love the color of the BG. I agree with Al on the tree in the BG and a head turn. You are finding nice birds and BGs.......just need to get the right combination. Try playing a little bit more with the flash.....that will make a world of difference in some situations.
