This Redtail is having to look back into the sun to see the Raven which carefully stays in that position making a high speed tandem barrel roll to maintain his back. If the hawk could make a quick enough 180* belly flop, the Raven would be in trouble.

Great interaction captured. I like the look back and wish the shadow of the crow wouldn't cover the hawk's tail. I might sharpen the birds a bit more or is it a heavy crop?

Thanks Axel, I am still wishing for my 200-400VR with my 1.7X :) meanwhile here is a rework with a little level up.

Bill, this is an amazing moment you've captured! I just love how the hawk is looking back at his pursuer. I like the original post better than the repost...it looks sharper to me. I think you are losing detail with the crop.

Thanks Linda, I just did a quickie repost for Axel with the original post than starting scatch. I liked the original best also and wish I had double the glass. After the economy gets out of the ditch. :p

Cool interaction, Bill, not easy to capture.

Thanks all three of you, my two favorite girls and Mr Axel for making me work. Hope this looks better overall. :)
