    Very nice and sharp, Marietjie. I like the angle and the way in which the wind is blowing the small feathers.

    Lovely job, Marietjie. Beautiful wing position and outstretched talons , not to mention the tail drag!

    Wonderful timing with those outstretched talons. You did very well getting detail in the underwing, but maintaining detail in the whites on the head. Did you use flash to help brighten up his underside?

    Great timing! Love the excellent pose and detail, IMO light angle could be better but as it is it looks just terrific!! Congratulaitons!

    Wow, what a fabulous flight pose! Love the curled primaries, water reflections on the underwing areas, and the outstretched feet. Beautiful!

    Hi Terry, no, luckily the reflection in the water was sufficient to give some light to the underside.

    Great intense action position, exposure, and the tail in the water too. Superb.
