A splendid bird and good pose but the image is a bit oversharped?

    I'm glad I can help :)
This is a really interesting bird from Nakuru. Have you been there for bird photography trip?
What other birds can be seen there?

Lake Nakuru is famous for flamingoes, millions of them, there are lots of white pelicans and you can find other birds too like egyptian geese, ibis etc.

Great portrait of this roller, Gautam Nice details and background. Too bad his prey wasn't facing the camera, but still an excellent capture. A little more room on the left might be good.

By the way, Nickolay, Nakuru is probably most famous for its flamingos. In addition to the pelicans, there are usually African spoonbill, yellow-billed storks, marabou storks, African fish eagles and many more.

That is quite a meal this bird is holding and it adds a lot of interest to this image. Frontal lighting would eliminate the shadows on the right side of the bird and it is a bit tight in the frame. You generally should try to have more room in front of the bird than behind it, giving the bird room to look into. A unique capture and nice detail.

I like the capture, the light is harsh and too tight in the frame.

It's a nice image, but I think the crop hurts the quality here.
