    Default Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo)

This Jake kept walking toward me as I was photographing the rest of the flock. At one point he was so close that the camera / lens wouldn't focus. I would like to have had more room at the top.

A ver well exposed and sharp image. Would have liked to see the uncropped feathers of the birds that are coming out from teh breast on the left.

Thank you. Unfortunately that's a full a full frame shot so I can't do anything about losing the beard.

Good exposure and beautiful sharp details. I like the head on look he's giving you. I do wish you had been able to include the entire beard, even if it meant being close on top...you could have added canvas there. Regardless, a lovely image.

I love the colours here Michael. The others have already covered minor nits.

A friend of mine has a flock of about 50 on her property. I'm hoping to capture some images of Toms displaying for the hens in a few weeks when (if) it warms up here.

Thanks everyone. I've been back a few times to try to "recapture the moment" but you know how it is with birds. They can never keep an appointment.
