    Default Snowy Owl

    Model = Canon EOS-1D Mark II N
    Exposure Time = 1/2000"
    F Number = F8
    Exposure Program = Manual
    ISO Speed Ratings = 400
    Metering Mode = Spot
    Flash = Flash did not fire, compulsory flash mode
    Focal Length = 400mm
    Color Space = sRGB
    Exposure Mode = Manual exposure
    Baited
    Handheld using Bushhawk

    Worked to have the light in the right spot and light his/her underside while turning. Don't like the multi-layered BG.

    Gorgeous flight Capture Jody and wonderful wing spread as well as beautiful eye contact. The only thing I would do is a little CW rotation as the horizon looks slightly off. Otherwise a magnificent image. Love it !!

    Jody just a wondeful capture here. Judy has already mentioned the small horizon nit.

    You've been up in our area at least twice now an I've still not had the food fortune to meet you. I'll have to have a few words with Marc to correct that! ;)

    It isn't so much of a layered BG IMO. The background shows the environment in this particular shot, just enough to give a feel of the surroundings but nog enough to take away attention from the bird. At least from my point of view. Lovely shot!
