    Default Western Sandpiper

This is a Western Sandpiper. Captured today--very overcast and a bit stormy.

Very purposeful look striding along the beach - I like the raised foot. Focus is perfect and you have a good low shooting angle giving a nice clean BG. A bit of fill flash may have livened the eye a little and a pose more parallel to the image plane would be more illustrative but I like the dynamism captured here. Good job, Bonnie.

I like the hunched and mid-stride pose. Good low angle, and nice composition. Well done.
