Default Stellar Sea Lions in Puget Sound

Today I decided to make the long, 2 mile plus walk to capture these Stellar Sea Lions. The light was good and the tide low enough to get there and back in one piece.
They are located in Puget Sound. If I had changed the angle a bit, you could see Seattle in the background. ;) Amazing to see them.

    Bonnie,
I would say a fruitful attempt wading through the low tide.

Some nice interaction going on there. I wish the Sea Lion at the extreme left would have turned its head a bit towards you. It would have made the image much stronger. Lot of details in the image. I wish the horizon were in a better position. Look forward to more from this trip.

    Cheers,

    Bonnie,

This works well for me. Of course a head turn from the left one would be the ideal circumstance - sometimes you just don't get what you need.

Great exposure and I like the height you took the image from.
