Default Young Mallard On The Move

    Hello Again,
It's been awhile since I posted anything. I liked this mallard but it might be a little dark. I didn't get any detail in the dark wing area, and the bg still has a bit of noise, even though I ran it thru Neat Image.
    Thanks for looking...tom

Very nice gliding pose, eye contact, details and BG. I might apply some curves and/or S/H to get more details in the shadows. Keep them coming!

Great position of the wings in this pose, and it's a very nice composition. Agreed it would be nice to try and pull a bit of detail out of those shadows if it's there in the RAW.

I like this pose, crop and eye contact, The fluttering upper wing coverts and curved tertials are lovely. Needs a bit of + exposure and pity there is no light to show the iridescence and colour of the speculum. Agree with Axel that some S/H and / or selective curves to try and regain shadow detail is a good idea.
