    I'm in Socorro, NM until 11/22, so I'm posting a Bosque shot instead of an image from my recent trip to Australia. I'll post more Australia bird images when I return home to Florida.

    Very nice capture. Are there still 3 females in the ponds?

    Cool pose and eye contact. On my monitor it looks as if there is a slight S/H halo around the bird.

    Agreed about the halo, but given that I can't get within 1/2 a mile of a harrier around here, I'd kill for this.
