Great HA, pose, sharp details and killer BG, Denise. I found one of these the other day; not as close as yours but it was my best image of these to date.

    Lady Denise,
I like your composition and capture. I like the dark green hues of the background which compliments your bird very nicely...you have sharp details in the feathers , a good head angle and good eye contact. I modified your image slightly by taking away the shadow on the perch and reconstructing the talon, adjusted saturation and contrast selective sharpened the contour of the feathers and around the eye area...hope this presents better to you...

Great pose and BG. Like the repost as the strong lighting tends to wash out the colours. Well done!

Hi denise: The attached is a proof copy (needs a bit more fine tuning) of what I was talking about using the CS4 new Clone tool with "Show Overlay" & "Clipped" selected in Clone Source panel as described at
http://unclegus.150m.com/Clone/Cloneinfo.htm to cleanup shadows under bird and talons on branch.

    Take care Young Lady.

    Uncle Gus

BTW: To get branch looking like a branch I made a Defune brush preset of a good part of the branch and could use the brush at different sizes and opacity to sort of even branch out. First time I used it, and would be better a second time.
